Its not usually that cold when its snowing.........a good layered clothing system topped by waterproofs and you will be fine.

I passed a few rivers today and they all looked very inviting....it's how you measure a days fishing....i would be happy getting out and just catching a pike or a chub or a roach.

One things for sure..once the snow melts fishing will be **** on rivers for a while this time.

chub in the snow

Had a session on Saturday, bitterly cold and manged just 3 very cagey bites. It was worth it though for 2 chub of 4.14 and 5.04...

Fished yesterday into dark, kin cold, a few taps. Back later.

Dear Wol,

Now, Mr Marsden calls you a 'tit' and that nice Mr. Cakey calls you a 'tart'

Given that you've been out and about, in these Arctic conditions, fishing into the night no less; I think I'll stick with:

You are nuts!

Seriously though, well done . . . respect where it is due, I wouldn't have gone out even if Cameron Diaz, Charlize Theron and Madeline Stowe were all naked outside my front door calling: 'come on big boy, we need you'

Wait a minute, Cameron, Charlize and Madeline, well, I'd have gone outside for that on second thoughts . . . . .

Whatever happened to Madeline Stowe by the way, she was gorgeous!

Madeline Stowe rings a bell but I can't quite place her...??

Warren Gaunt......I have to agree with Peter;anyone who ventures out in the current weather deserves to catch and I really hope you do 'cos it must take a major effort to get your head around leaving a warm house!

Just for the record, are you river or stillwater fishing?I assume the former as most stillwaters must be frozen solid......

Well done anyway and good, good luck!!

Well, I know where and how I'd like to place her Tee Cee.

She played Cora Munro in Last of the Mohicans

Cody Zamora in Bad girls

Julia Moore in We Were Soldiers

May Olham in Imposter

Oh, never mind, take a look at:
