Recently I have noticed certain publications and even tackle catalogues calling the water soluble sustance we use in bags: Polyvinyl Acetate. It's not it's Polyvinyl alchohol.
The short form for Polyvinyl Acetate is PVA, as used in paints and coatings The correct short form for Polyvinyl Alcohol is PVOH.
In saying this I mean no disrespect to those many excellent publications of tackle catalogues who may have made this mistake in the past.
