Method Feeder

Hi,

I have just come back to fishing after a 4 year break and want to give the Method Feeder a try on my local lake.
Does anyone have any rig ideas that I can use with them ?

The diagrams on the back of the packets look like they would tether a fish if the line broke and I wouldn't want to do that.

Any ideas would be most welcome...

Thanks

Bill

Look in the articles and search for method feeder.
There are quite a few articles there.
Here's one.

Have a read and then come back with some questions if you have any.

I haven't used or handled one, but have viewed them in a mag somewhere.
They seem OK, but I'll reserve judgement.

I've used both the large and medium size on the commercials for carp and they were excellent. Been out and bought two more of each since. Got to be good when old McWallet does that (before anybody else says it!).

Graham,
Are you talking about the Korum ones?

Aren't they elasticated or did you fish them free running instead of inline?

Why are companies still selling the elasicated version when it's totaly unnecessary, instead of promoting safer free running/inline versions.

Instead of tying the main line to the feeder slide a run-bead on the mainline and then attach that to the feeder with a link.
