I'm in the market for a new set of scales and I fancy a digital type. Can anyone recommend any?

presumably you will want a set that weigh accurately up to say 1500grms Dave.....

I've got the Salter digital scales and whilst they are expensive they are very very good. I had mine tested by Trading Standards and they are accurate aswell.

You can get them for ?80. Not cheap, but they are 100& accurate.

The Salter ones are excellent & withstand a fair amount of abuse, like kicking around in the bottom of a dinghy during a winter downpour! Plus you can go metric or imperial at the press of a button.
