I will be going to Warmwell caravan park in September and hope to fish for the specimen carp there, wife and children permiting. Any advice, hints or tips would be great.

Never fished there but from what I've heard it's tiny. Don't be afraid to fish (literally) under your feet and don't ignore swims were you only have access to a very small channel as fish are caught from them. Obviously fishing like that you want to minimise any disturbance and set up back from the water. Baits and the like I don't know about but naturals (worms & maggot) have accounted for a fair few fish in the past.

Good luck,

Rob.

Another one for Cakey to answer when he gets back from his hols.
He went to Warmwell earlier in the year.

Steve,
I went there for a weekend about 5 years ago, at that time the 2 swims to the left of the foot bridge on to the island gave the angler a far portion of water.
I got stuck around the back of an Island, but managed to winkle a couple of carp on cockles.
