Touring Caravan Sites and Carp

Just signed up and I thought I would see if there is anybody out there who hunts around for a decent venue with their touring Caravan. Having a lovely wife and a massive desire for......carp I try and combine my two passions. Can you recommend anywhere that allows you to back your caravan up to the lake and fish for carp? I have been to Docklow Pools nr Leominster earlier this year and landed a 20lb plus mirror. Searching for similar opportunities elsewhere.

I don't know how far you are willing to travel but I had a superb week in a static van at Cofton Farm near Dawlish in Devon.There are 2 or 3 lakes on site including a specimen pool.You are also within walking distance of the river Exe estuary at Starcross.They sometimes advertise in the weekly mags.

I think the best bet Neil, would be to get Graham to post his thoughts as the old codger is on a caravan run as we speak. He's back this weekend and no doubt he'll post his findings.
