hi,
do any readers have any good ideas for carp fishing rigs and baits.
i have a family holiday booked for brittany next year and close by are three small lakes which hold carp/catfish.
its been a long time since i was last carp fishing so any advice would be appreciated. mark

I left it a long time before I jumped onto the French carp fishing bandwagon Mark, and when I did I found it totally amazing, it changed a lot of my prospectives and ideologies about the sport. Ken Townley gave me loads of help and information, check out some of his articles in carp world

If it's been a long time then you could do worse than take a look at some ready made rigs. I would stick with a 'standard' hair rig but consider going equiped with bigger hooked rigs and stonger braided hooklengths if the cats take your fancy.
