Following on from Kevin Perkins article, I think that he has the basis of a very good idea.
The problem we face here is publicity. The best media for such an event is television. However, when did you last see a fishing programme any where near peak time programming?
They aren't! Its always 10.30 to 11 at night. So much would be lost if an event with such a lot of effort put into were to be shown at this time. It would put it on a par with the gimmicky (and crap) screaming reels once of C4.
The question is how to get the maximum exposure we require for an event such as this.
Any suggestions?
