Publicity

Following on from Kevin Perkins article, I think that he has the basis of a very good idea.
The problem we face here is publicity. The best media for such an event is television. However, when did you last see a fishing programme any where near peak time programming?
They aren't! Its always 10.30 to 11 at night. So much would be lost if an event with such a lot of effort put into were to be shown at this time. It would put it on a par with the gimmicky (and crap) screaming reels once of C4.
The question is how to get the maximum exposure we require for an event such as this.
Any suggestions?

Just get a couple of million promo budget, a few A-list celebs, hawk it onto all the network talk shows, look at merchandising tie-ins with one of the mega takeaway chains - easy.
