Set-up Rods

Alright people,
I am new to the site and have a keen interest in Barbel fishing. Just a quick question to anyone who has any views of keeping rods tackled up in rod sleeves. I have recently bought a 2 Rod quiver and 2 padded rod sleeves to keep set up Rods in. Now that i have them i am having second thoughts about whether to use them incase of the line getting caught anywhere which could result in weakened mono and the loss of a very good fish.
Any Thoughts?

Keeping rods tackle up in sleeves is convieniant, but can cause the line to weaken and you need to be aware of this

The trick is not to pull the line too tight when you strap the sections together, that way it won't kink around a ring.

My rods are too big too put up my sleeve.
