Gardner XT net handle

Has anyone got and used one of these? I saw it in the 'whats new' part of CF and as I am looking for a decent net handle....................its made from carbon composite which normally suggests sturdy but a little on the heavy side. Anybody?

I don't have that one but last year I bought the Drennan Super Specialist; very similar, extends to about 10 feet with a quarter-turn on the handle etc.

Not exactly lightweight, but then I wanted a sturdy handle, and I think the price was about the same as the Gardner, give or take a couple of pounds.

I've been very happy with the Drennan and would recommend it without hesitation.
