Depends what I'm fishing for Nick, so many on the market, large mess for pike, large nets for carp, flick type for fly?

Keenets do a 24" round head net with mixed mesh that is great in flowing water. The biggest problem is a decent handle to go with it - I use a telescopic on at present and for roving use just two sections.

For barbel I now use a folding 36 inch arm triangular net. I would prefer my old 32 inch pear shape job but it's a sod to carry about.

For tench, chub, bream etc I use a Daiwa round 24 onch round net. For roach and smaller fish I use a lightweight Keenets 15 inch spoon.

For Pike I now use a 36 inch circular affair with special large open mesh from Harris Angling that does not catch on trebles.

.......I wish I could hook something big enough to justify using one!

Specialist Tackle do some 'Barbel Spoons' I saw advertised in this moths Course Fisherman. I was thinknig of investing in a 30 inch size... As my Old wanderer has fallen apart...
