I'm off to Timsbury Manor on the Test this Thursday, have any of you fished it recently? If so, how did you get on? I fished it last year and had some nice Grayling.

I fished there a while back and it was lashing down with rain , we ended up with a fair few grayling , some nice size roach , some mad trout , we also had the pleasure if you like of catching a carp , its a lovely place but i just wished it was a little drier and the water was not banging through so much , good luck.

Hi Ray,

I've also sent you a PM - probably saying the complete opposite of Skippy!

It's a great place to fish, but why does it always rain so bloody much there.

I have never been there and it hasn't rained.

Okay, now, how can I put this, gently . . . . . . . . well, we arrange it for you lot who invade our peaceful and tranquil countryside.

For crying out aloud, if we gave you great weather, and upstream breeze and a steady flowing river, you'd only come back - time and time again!

Bluidy 'townies'
