Hi Dan.
Hold your mouse over 'Features' on the main bar above. Have a look through the articles in 'How to' or 'Beginners' you should find some very good advice with pictures hopefully.
It's a massive subject to try and cover in a few posts.

firstly thanks for getting back to me
i am fishing the river lark in prickwillow there is nothing about the river online that i ahve found, i am fishing for anything really but i know there are some big tench in the river i have seen them in the water but cannot seem to hook them
