I'm relatively new to fishing (mainly Carp) and theses forums. Could someone tell me what "LOL" stands for? Idle curiosity and a boring day not fishing making me wonder. Thanx.

WOW!! I didn't expect a response like this. People on this forum are obviously very willing to help/contribute in a good friendly way. I'v been reading this forum on a regular basis recently. As I say I am new to this angling lark, but as I gain xperience I will be more than happy to share any tips/advice etc. I must just share the fact that my personal best in my 6 months of carping has been a 20Lb common caught from a local pool. Although I caught it more by luck than judgement (!!), I feel absolutely honoured to have got off to a good start. From now until the day I drop I intend to fish regularly (mainly Carp though).
