Is it a good deal?

I have an offer of a brand new (never used) Penn Senator Boat Rod (specification unknown) for 50 Euro, still in its cloth wrapper. I was onto the american sites and they retail online for between 60-120 USD but what I am interested in is any war stories?

Anyone used them and if so what do you think? I would be marrying it to a Daiwa SL30SH with 30lb Powerpro braid.

if you dont know the spec i assume you dont know the test curve, i believe they are 20-30 stand up sticks which are not allways suited to our type of fishing
