"Did the fish move for you?"

I am based in S W Cumbria and most of my boat fishing is based around Morecambe Bay, with regular forays further afield, S.W Scotland, etc.
I would welcome any comments on the use of rubby dubby and scent trails along with suggested recipies and ingredients for particular targeted species and answers to that age old question - "Did the fish move for you, dear?"

I have fished Luce BAy for Tope and used a Rubby Dubby. It consisted of onion sacks with a mixture of mashed mackeral and herring, oatmeal, pilchard oil, blood....not my own i hasten to add!!!

Worked a treat for us!
