You could put them outside my back door at the moment brrrrr
Riddle off all the waste and maize, put in sealable plastic bags and expel the air.Freeze in one pintlots. On the bank keep frozen dead maggots in water they last much longer especially in high temps, otherwise they go all horrible and brown.

just stick them straight in the freezer

(in a sealed container obviously)

One of my favourite early season Tench baits - Defrosted bannana flavoured Maggots!

Sift out all the debris, Then degrease them by rinsing in Diet lemonade put them in Plastic bags with your chosen flavour, give them a shake and bung em in the freezer.

I have great success with them I think its because they don't wriggle ther way into the silt.

I read it in an article about about using Sticky Mag in the distant past.
I dont use Sticky Mag, I use Horlicks and it made a definte improvement and like all things you just adapt and adopt it for other uses.
