enjoyable article Chris, its interesting how we all devewlop our own methods of photography while fishing, particularly for dealing with photographs when we are alone. I found the advent of auto focus a major step forward. As for the bulb release, I never found the propriatory ones much good for fishing purporses, they either split on me or simply didnt always go off (I kneel on mine)I adapted my cable release using a sun bed pump bulb, easy to hide under the unhooking mat, large enough not to miss and robust enough for continuous fire with the motorwind on.
