Ask in the Bridge Inn at Greater Witchenham, I think they have day ticket barbel fishing on the mill stretch across the road. I cant remember the mills name, but in might be Lenwade.

I just did a search on barbel fishing in Norwich and had loads of hits back, too many to list here.
The Bridge Inn at Lenwade was one of them.

RMC angling has excellent Barbel fishing at Taverham on season ticket. ?27 a year. U also have access to 5 lakes with big Tench and Carp. http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/
I saw *Scar*, the famous Wensum Barbel in the weir pool about 3 years ago. It was massive. It came out the next day at something like 13 pounds.
