Please could someone tell me what the small fin is called behind a samons top fin because my brother won't tell me and it's for a good cause so please write back as soon as possible.

If you mean the small fin between the tail and dorsal fin, it's called the adipose fin

apparently any fish with an adipose fish is a game fish!

Bare that in mind when your next in an aquatic shop
