Many books are written on the subject, some good other very significant in development. I was very fond of BB and have originals of Wood Pool and Confessions, Jim Gibbinson made a significant entry into carp angling literiture in the 60s with The Carp, which was part of the Richard Walker library series. Jack Hilton in 1972 came along with Quest for Carp. Kevin Maddocks with Carp Fever was an excellent piece for the late 70s.

In specialist terms our own Graham made a significant landmark contribution with Advanced Coarse Fishing, another groundbreaking work was Archie Braddocks Fantastic Feeder Fishing (every carp angler should read this)

Tony Miles cant go unmentioned in this section with the excellent works he has produced

and no list would be complete without Richard Walkers, Still Water Angling

Other works that come to mind are Billy Lanes Encyclopedia of Floats
