My insurance has just given me ?750 for a new pole - suggestions welcome. I mostly fish Commercial waters

Depends on the length you want really, I'd look for around ?400. Theres loads of good quality poles around that mark. You'll have some money left over too for some more toys.

mr fryer i can thoroughly recomend maver's 16m medusa.1 top 3(10 elastic),3 power top 2s(20 elastic)very stiff very light.look to pay around ?650-?700 you'll have enough change for a few extras
