Shimano Reels

I have three of the lovely, never to be parted with Shimano 5010's. Best reels I've ever hand and are still going strong.

The only problem is that after years and years of total abuse the baitrunner facility is not as smooth as it was.

I'm thinking of getting them serviced. Has anyone had this done, either through the manufacturer or onother third party ?....if so were you pleased with the result and how much did it cost, how long did it take before return, etc..

any advice gratefully received.

I sent a reel to Paul Bright a few months back, sorted and back to me in about 10 days.
