Fly Identification

Just been left a collection of flies (and tackle) by a relative. As a coarse fisherman I know very little about them but recognise one or two. Interested in starting fly fishing again. Are there any good books out there that will help me to identify the flies I don't know so I can sort them into wets/dries/etc?

There are many books on this subject - "The Complete Book of Trout Fly Fishing" is one of them.
Also try the internet. I can recommend www.globalflyfisher.com as one of the best sites on flyfishing, dealing with both fresh and saltwater flyfishing.
