I subscribed to Total Carp a couple or years ago at the NEC where I was promised a rod bag ...nothing.
Last year I resubscribed and the offer was some swingers....nothing.
Now heres the larf...I got at letter asking me to phone a number where I would be charge 3p a minute to see what they are not going to send me this year.
are they havin a bubble ??

most mags are bollox these days...full of ads and repeats of the same articles with different people.

It take a few of the mags, none regularly, but have given them all a look at sometime, and you can't beat this on-line mag for convenience, etc.

Write to a mag with a posing question, and they are tight for space and can't to answer it( not their faullt, I apreciate), but here? Here, it's great, all the aritcles you want, you ain't got to keep a stack to keep the ones you want to re-read, all the answers are at someones finger tips, and everyone pitches in with their advice and opinions, which generally you don't get in a mag.

But you always need something whilst you're on the pan!

Reading on the pan promotes piles, but is the only place for peace and quiet sometimes.

Does the missus fish too then Dave? tee hee hee, or is it another mag?

In terms of paper softness I find that you cant beat Angling Times.... But unfortunately I have trouble with the ink print coming off whilst wiping....

And you have to mind the free gifts.....
