Here's my week: is this why we fish for Carp I wonder?.....
Mon-Fri drove 160 miles each way to fish St. Johns at Linear Fisheries. Result? one Tench. Disappointed with this result so it was off to the local canal this morning. Result? a run within 10 minutes of setting up, mirror about 12. While I was playing this fish the other rod went so I put the first one on baitrunner while I hit the second. This was much bigger, after I netted it I was left with the problem of the first fish. Managed to unhook this while in the water so I could deal with the bigger one. It went 21.8 on the scales which is my personal best from the local area.
