Fishing the Arun at Arundel

Basically, I work in the town center and was wondering how I could fish this fast flowing river during my lunch hour. I hear there are big bass off the bridge and trout. Bait fishing would be a challenge as where to keep the bait in the office!

Is spinning any good? All advice gratefully received!!
