What is the best way to hook a worm/worms for carp and what hook size is best for this method?

i use a size 6 with a normal "snake" sized lobworm - just hook the worm once through the saddle, so it can hang free and wriggle (i dont wear underwear for the same reason!)

The reason why I was asking is that some guy said he was catching carp on a "GOB" of worms?! Do you know what "GOB" is? I don't think he spits on them LOL!

The reason why I was asking is that some guy said he was catching carp on a "GOB" of worms?! Do you know what "GOB" is? I don't think he spits on them LOL! I was thinking maybe he puts on a few worms on one hook?

I always nip the tail off and hook that seperately as it leaves a scent trail.
