Hi Richard,
I've bought some terracotta Plastiroc modlers clay to make my own as well, it looks quite good. sets in about 24hours without the need for heat or kiln firing and you can mould them into any shape, ?2.50 for 1kg so I hope they work out for over gravel beds on the river. Just need some paper clips and swivels and I'm set.

it makes you wonder how long the makers of "stonze" thought it would before people just went out and made their own!!!!....?1.25 for a stone with a swivel in it??...hmmmmmmmmmm

Is it easy to drill into a stone? Do you need a special drill bit?

just use an ordinary masonry bit and clean out the hole well before glueing in the swivel. how much is a packet of swivels and a tube of araldite ?
i didnt even use a hammer drill just an ordinary cordless drill. mind u dont drill yer finger though , i did one of the stones split !
