Fifteen degrees in 10 days

A week ago Monday, March 8th it was minus 6 degrees Celsius (-6) at 7.40 am on my doorstep. This morning 9 degrees Celsius (+9).

That's quite a big change for 10 days I thought!

Is Spring finally here then?

Here in Paris it certainly felt like Spring yesterday as the mercury rose to a warming 17 degrees!

Here in the rain-forests of Surrey the Naturists are out in full swing - well, the well endowed ones are - and I'm actually thinking of removing my combinations and thermal one-peice suit when I go to bed tonight.

Saw the first pair of Swifts zooming around the brewery (18thC Barns) on Tuesday, more arrived yesterday. Don't normally see them until at least April. Somethings up!

Just off Rotherham town centre this afternoon and right above me were two- yes two skylarks singing thier hearts out--- bloody twitchers all oar't show! (all over the plaice- well, it is a fishing forum-lol)
