What is your Casting technique for long distance with leads 2oz+?

overhead thump, or off the ground if i'm really going for it.
had to get rid of the cat

Rick, crap im sorry to say,Im left handed,can`t do the overhead cast,(it goes a fair way to the clouds but about 20 yds over the water),I cast over my right shoulder,but I can cast to 12o,clock and end up at 3 o,clock,and then other times I can get it on the money in the tightest of swim`s.
Sorry not a lot of help.

Worm cast? I don't know of any actual casts that gets a name etc.. Do you know of a web site for casting?

anyway the wallis cast is a 5 fingered fairy cast to get an extra couple of yards,franck cast can get you 180 yds+

I don't know of a website, but there are several books available inc "Long distance casting" by John Holden. See if you can get hold of a copy, it's well worth it.
