I will shortly be joining Peter Jacobs in Wiltshire where we shall be fishing The Avon in several places.
I am worried about my appearance. In the old books on fishing these rivers, a certain dress code was "de riguer".
Should I go out and purchase a very expensive tweed sports jacket, deer stalker and breeks, together with Tattersall shirts and military tie, or should I just rock up in my dirty old Levies, green wellies, ancient Bob Church Ventile jacket and ESP cap?
Discreet help would be appreciated. I do not wish to look like a typical Northern "Tag" or Tyke.
And if I go coarse fishing, do I need to get a creel?
