Southerness

Hi,

I am thinking of spending a week in Southerness next August. Can anyone advise me if the shore fishing is worth bothering with?

good fishing at southerness. Bait can be dug up of the beach. But keep your eye on the tide as it comes in it is fast, second fastits in world. I fished there in July 3 years ago. Go left of lighthouse you will see some rocks that sit at the hightide mark , you can fish from them.But have agood look around before you go fishing for the frist time. We caught alot of flates and some bass, so standerd beach kit will do. hope this helps you and have agood time.
