Am I alone in thinking we have Ron's new nickname wrong?

Surely Ron Rontroversial is too much like a Phil Spector song - though wall of sound might be apropriate at times.

Should his nickname really be Ron (troversial) Clay?

This was my original suggestion.

Of course an anagram of Ron Clay is clarion (well nearly). Perhaps we can have Clarion Clay when he spouts off and Ron Troversial when he's being provocative.

Then there would be two of him...
