In relation to my previous thread, does anyone know where I can purchase a good quality blank for rod building?. I have tried Harrison but they only supply in bulk and only want one or two.

try TACKLE BOX. i think they still do the daiwa amorphous blanks which'll be ideal.

you dont actually want a powerful blank for method casting, long method casting is more like a slow, powerful lob. the type of rods the europeans use would be ideal, 15ft+ and like rubberbands. i think either harrison or century are developing one.
