After thinking that a shop advertising on this site would be a reasonable place to buy some equipment, how wrong was I.
Ordered a piece of equipment last week on there site, rang on Tuesday to make sure everything was in order,assured it was and would be with me by the weekend, on this advice had a trip organised.
Friday arrives,nothing, rang shop, usual excuses, total c##p I have found out.Cancelled order, placed order with another company and have been promised that it will arrive Monday.
The original company sent me an e-mail stating that if I placed another order I would get free P+P Wow, Thanks very much.Whole weekend ruined.
Anybody had the same experiences?.

Not recently as I use Fosters for most of my needs theses days, but I did have TWO bad experiences with a rod builder from Coventry some years ago. You would have thought once was bad enough. I ordered a "small river chub rod" from him, several months later after many many excuses I told him I would pick the rod up the next day after he said it was eventually finished. I dont think he expected that with me living in Durham--- he must have worked into the early hours to get it finished. Foolishly I ordered another rod after that and it took almost as long to get the rod.

I ordered some gear from Specialist Tackle, it turned up within their promised delivery time,but even better an order to Willy Worms at 12.30pm turned up at 9.30 next morning.
