Thanks for some interesting and cost saving ideas.

I wonder in this Internet age if there is not a good case for an electronic newsletter?
The advantages being obvious in terms of cost savings, and for those who do not have access to e-mail can still receive a paper copy.
This would really mean much lower production costs, and for the "few" paper copies the club can run them on its own printer.

Are there any FM members who belong to a club that issue electronic newsletters?
My club (CAC) do have a website, but the current news section is not updated too regularly, if it were, then it might negate the necessity for a newsletter inthe first place?

One of my pet hates is the intermittent and irregular issues of newsletters. I know (from personal experience) that is is sometimes difficult to find enough content to make the thing worthwhile, but I work on the principle that "something" is better than "nothing.
