Went fishing today and lost a pocket rocket spod.I waited until it drifted into bank and when I went to try to get it I found a destressed coot tangled weed.I managed to net it and found a plug & wire trace embedded in it's leg.Unhooked it and let it go {Wire trace was about 30lb but was knotted to about 6lb line...!!!}
I then clipped trace to my rod and got my spod back...!!!

Pity you can.t weight them in. I once hooked one on the pole - cracking fight!

(Please note- the coot was returned to the pond unharmed)

apart from the heart condition you probably gave it Danny. Its unfortunate really and it happens to us all from time to time of course. Its a great shame the anti pick up on these occasions issues.

What concerned me most is the fact that someone went to the trouble of making a sound wire trace then connecting it to weak mainline...!!! After all what would have happened to any hooked pike.
