fishing the River Tweed

Could someone tell me if I can fish the tweed all year round on tidal waters? From the mouth of the tweed up river for about 4 miles is classed as tidal. Plus part of the river whiteadder.

I'n not sure what the trout season is in Scotland Garry, but many anglers from the North East( Newcastle Durham) used to fish all year for coarse fish, even upstream of Coldstream. We also used to fish the tidal water, Horncliffe and upstream. One club I used to be a member of held trout competitions up there but I can't remember what time of year it was now.
