Hello , just joined , so a few words as way of introduction . My names Pat and I have fished for 25 or so years and most of that was spent chasing chub with lures and the rankest of cheesepastes . I do on occasion try my hand at different species ( mostly pike and perch on lures ) , but its the chub and the jungly swims that keeps me coming back for more .

Nobody deserves to be reminded of ex-mothers-in-law , if it helps just try to imagine her marooned on a tiny volcanic island every time you see my nickname ....:j

Again , thanks chaps , I know its early days but I must comment on how relaxed it is here , I am a member of a few other forums and whatnot and find that the whiff of elitism is getting to be a bit off putting and so was somewhat relieved to find somewhere where scrotes like me can feel at home ...... Huzzah etc :w
