Northamptonshire venues

I am at present working on a comprehensive guide to fishing in northamptonshire.
I already have a considerable amount of information, but if anybody has any information on any such venues in the county whether they be stillwaters coarse or game, section of canals, stretches of river, information on fishing clubs i would be grateful if you could pass it on.
it may be trivial but it could be a massive piece in the jigsaw puzzle to me.
any help will be gratefully appreciated.

ahhh in that case Mike, can you put me onto a decent bit of river fishing, and some tench mate ? I'm from Duston so know the area but have been away for a while (sounds like ive been in prison !!)for the summer ???

Best Tench fishing I know of is the old gravel pit by six fields, used to be called Weedon road. Fish off your rod tip and hang on!

As for the river, what are you fishing for?

I used to fish there about 5 years ago Mike, its still good then? Who's it run by now ? Rivers.. Chub I s'pose.. not really sure to be honest..

If you want tench fishing how about Sywell. Arguably some of the best tenching in the country at the moment.
