I discovered at some time later that African centipedes are relatively harmless compared with those in Asia and South America. They are also not as big.

There is a centipede to be found in the Asian rainforests that is capable of giving the most painful bite of anything living on this planet...... UUUUrrrrrggggh!!!

I think that a big centipede is the most horrifying creature I have ever seen in my life.

If there is a grand architect who created that thing he did so with tongue in cheek.

"Now for something that will really scare those humans witless".

And he chose the thing from the bowels of hell!!
