...different Bruce surely?.....Jim Bruce and Ken Walker.

Jim Bruce died in Oct 2000 but the company continues I believe.

James Bruce was also his fathers name but he traded as B.James & Son. before they changed it to Bruce and Walker.

Bruce Ashby almost certainly knows the answer to the question though.

I have owned several B. James and Bruce and Walker rods in my life including Split Cane Mk IVs, Mk IV Avons and Kennet Perfections in the 60s.

I had a pair of the B&W Glass Mk IVs in the 70s which I took to SA. Don't know where they are now. I think I gave them away.
