A great SA Trip

Just had an email from my friend Trevor Babich who lives near Jo'burg.

In a week, touring the Western Cape, he and his two sons took Small Mouth Yellowfish to 10 lbs, Catfish to 33 lbs and carp to 25 lbs. All these species were taken on fly tackle!

What a lovely trip.

Trevor Babich by the way is South Africa's answer to the late great **** Walker.

He has written many articles in the local press, is very involved with angling politics in that country and has his own website.

Many people call catfish - "Barbel" in SA Les.

Nothing wrong with eating the odd carp. Better than chucking them up the bank you know. At least you are making use of them.
