I'm not only an angler, I'm a website designer. As part of my companies services (www.teessidemedia.com) we remove viruses.

THIS ONE IS A HOAX.

Pointer. Microsoft do not send out e-mails
AOL are not a leading authority on viruses.
Try www.sarc.com they are owned by Symantec who also own Norton SOftware.

Two things.
1. Don't open attachments unless you're expecting them.
2. Switch off your preview pane. Some invisible attachments will be executed simply by previewing the mail!

I've often wondered about that, now all I have to do is find out how to switch it off.

Anyone?

Thanks Dave, in my version it was "view" and then "layout" and then turn off preview pane.
