Professional photographers and enthusiasts using professional grade cameras such as digital SLR's should use high-speed memory cards of at least 40X speed. If you own a camera with a megapixel rate above three million pixels, you will certainly benefit from a card with a higher speed rating. If you're like most of us using a compact camera under 3 million pixels, you'll get great performance from standard cards with 12X or more.

Another big vote for 7 day shop, been using them for the last three or four years for bits and pieces, especially rechargeable batteries. Quick post, good quality stuff and cheapest around. What's not to like ?

PS. Cakey old sweetie, looking at their listings the speed reference on these cards is set out as follows

"Features:
* Speed performance rating: Class 2 (based on SD 2.00 Specification)
* Class 2 speeds offer guaranteed transfer speeds of 2MB/sec"
and doesn't refer to 2x, 40x or any other multiplier speeds.

So what should I be looking for in "Class" or transfer speed figures MB/sec to = your best of the bunch 40x ? Or point me at a useful URL to save copy 'n paste....
