Got ya Jeff, no offence taken or intended.
Thanks Monkey! Although my efforts were/are minimal compared to some and weren't 'for' the NFA as such, although I have/do wore their badge, my efforts were solely for the young people whom I coached and for the new coaches I helped to train, and as such, it is far easier to do that when you are part of a bonafide nationally recognised organisation.
Try offering your services as a football coach without being affiliated to the FA, not a chance!
My point is that the NFA is the sports national governing body, but how does an organisation (for any sport) get that title, is there an application process or is it a self proclaimed type thing?
