Years ago my good friend, South African Broadcaster, travel writer and fly fisherman - Malcolm Meintjes, ran a column in a local magazine called "Trout and About".

I will inform him of this ungentlemanly bit of plagurism. It is certainly not cricket what?

Ron, I'm sure if he managed to negotiate a royalty he would be absolutely delighted after fifteen series repeats on Discovery H&L.

They'll probably claim a difference between "'n'" and "and". Besides which, in Ron's mates version there's more space
between "trout" and "and" and "and" and "About"


Now you try and write a sentence with 5 x "ands" next to each other!

Hi all
Just read the preamble of Trout and About, it sounds exactly like a series produced here called "A River Somewhere", 2 well known film and TV producers and presenters travelled the world fly fishing for trout and some other species, then cooked them up at the end of the day, was in 6 programs and all very enjoyable, sounds like plagarism to me!!.

Seen that one Martin, it was on one of the sky channels a couple of years ago (Travel Channel I think?). I thought it was quite good.
