in the coure of your trout fishing life some of you must have caught bream unintentionally,
if so can you remember what fly patterns you were using when you caught them.

Have not caught any but i would think bloodworm patterns & the Oaky Dokey should work.

lay off my fishes, i know you've been reading my other threads, and i got the idea first and i've also got a reasonable idea where they are in there cause i knows people who fish it.
just thought that if it counted as a record i might just have a go at em.

my thought on this was that either a blood worm pattern or a small marrabou lure like a scaled down pike fly fished close to the bottom to imitate a small fry might just get me one.

Ron,here is a simple dressing, hook,PTFE tape as body or white floss ribbed with fine silver wire.head & thorax area flouro orange floss,if you want you can use a black permanent marker to mar a feedspot on the top of the orange head to represent a ffedsack then coat with hard as nails a few times.
